Our friends over at Yanko have released an interesting design by Maurizio Maiorana for a fold up portable stop top mat which uses silver as a conductor. The "Cooka" incorporates silver because of it's excellent thermal properties which allow for effective heating of pots and pans while keeping the tabletop nice and cool.
